Masking Policies

Frederick Health is committed to providing you with a safe environmental. As part of that commitment, we consistently monitor the ever-changing transmission levels of respiratory illnesses such as COVID-19 and RSV. As a result, our masking policies reflect the most accurate information available.

While respiratory illness is still impacting our operations and our community, the existing masking policies for Frederick Health team members, patients, and visitors were recently reviewed and have been updated. Those updates are described below. There are two distinct categories: Frederick Health Ambulatory sites such as our Primary Care, Urgent Care offices, and the Frederick Health Hospital.

Ambulatory Locations:

Mask wearing will be optional for visitors, patients, and team members at our Ambulatory sites.

Frederick Health Hospital:

Mask wearing will be optional for visitors, patients, and team members.
