Delaplaine Foundation, Inc. Donates $250,000 to Frederick Health

FREDERICK, MD – Delaplaine Foundation, Inc. has generously provided Frederick Health with a leadership gift of $250,000 in support of the ReEnvisioning Critical Care Campaign to fund the renovation and expansion of the hospital’s critical care service areas.

“Delaplaine Foundation, Inc. has been a generous benefactor to the hospital for nearly 20 years. Their generosity has touched many areas of the hospital. Patients who have utilized the Prenatal Center, the James M Stockman Cancer Institute, or the cardiac, emergency and critical care units of the hospital, have benefitted from Delaplaine Foundation’s charitable gifts. We are so very fortunate to have Delaplaine Foundation as a partner in our mission to positively impact the well-being of every individual in our community,” stated Frederick Health President & CEO Tom Kleinhanzl.

The ReEnvisioning Critical Care project is a $45.8 million capital construction project on the hospital’s 7^th Street campus to redesign the emergency department to accommodate adult and pediatric patients, modernize the intensive care unit and expand diagnostic and therapeutic cardiac services to meet current and future demand. The project is expected to be completed in 2023.
