We Stuffed the Bus!

We Stuffed the Bus!

Frederick Health, the largest healthcare provider in Frederick County, is pleased to participate in the United Way of Frederick County’s Stuff the Bus initiative once again. Every year, Frederick Health works with the wonderful team at the United Way of Frederick County to gather school supplies for local students.

“We've forged a fantastic relationship with United Way through the Stuff the Bus campaign. It's all about giving our kids in Frederick County the best start to their upcoming school year,” said Mike McLane, Vice President, Surgical & Support Services.

By partnering with local stakeholders, Frederick Health is working to equip Frederick County Public Schools students with the right tools for learning and thriving. Frederick Health is one of many local businesses, organizations, and groups collecting supplies. People may notice yellow bins scattered throughout various collection areas in Frederick County. These collection spots are ready and waiting for donations and the collection time ends July 30. If you're wondering what to donate, each yellow bin has a check list of accepted items.

“Thanks to our strong community leadership and partnership with United Way, we've made a big difference by ensuring FCPS students have the school supplies they need. This is a fantastic opportunity to care for kids and make a difference in our community's next generation.” added McLane.
