2023 in Review

As we start the new year, this is a time to consider our shared accomplishments and look forward to our positive future. At Frederick Health, we're proud of our achievements in 2023. From the opening of Frederick Health Brunswick, expanding access to Critical Care, developing new and innovative services, or providing quality care every day, Frederick Health was here for you this past year as your community of care. Together, we accomplished great things and remained true to our mission to positively impact the well-being of every individual in our community.

Our accomplishments include:

• Debuting our new, state-of-the-art $47 million-dollar Critical Care Expansion. These updates include a new Emergency Department, a new Pediatric Emergency Department and Inpatient Wing, a new Behavioral Health Emergency Unit, a new Intensive Care Unit (ICU), and a new Cardiac Cath Lab. This expansion brought our total number of treatment spaces in the Emergency Department to 70.
   
• Opening our new Frederick Health Brunswick location which includes Primary Care, Urgent Care, Laboratory Services, Imaging, and Physical Therapy & Sports Rehab.

• Developing innovative services and programs to meet the needs of our growing community, including Pulmonary Medicine, the Comprehensive Care Center, and Family Connects.

• Increasing Breast Cancer screenings in the community by 40% by expanding our partnership with Community Radiology Associates (CRA).
