Pediatric Services:
Emergency Care
Frederick Health Hospital’s Emergency Department is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Our separate Pediatric Emergency Department is staffed 24 hours a day by pediatricians and specially trained pediatric staff. You can access this specialized area through the emergency department entrance.
The pediatric emergency department is part of the pediatric combined unit which also includes pediatric inpatient beds, for those patients who need to stay overnight for further care.
Our Team of Pediatric Hospitalists
Our pediatric hospitalists are experienced, dedicated, and caring. Every one of our pediatric hospitalists is board certified and have obtained training from the best programs offered nationwide. We are committed to providing pediatric care with compassion and excellence. Our pediatric hospitalists give our patients access to care 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
Pediatric Surgery
Frederick Health offers pediatric surgery in partnership with pediatric surgery specialists at Johns Hopkins Children's Center. Our board-certified surgeons provide all aspects of pediatric surgery for neonatal, infant, child and adolescent conditions and are also available for outpatient follow up.
